Established in 2007 and family-owned, the true spirit of aloha is represented in all of our products. We craft all of our products with aloha and respect for the land and sea where they are cultivated. Then we put this same aloha into blending and creating amazing seasonings, rubs, and flavors that reflect Hawaii's diversity and beauty.
Aloha Spice Company's crafted organic gourmet seasonings & rubs are made in small batches on the island of Kauai. We smoke Hawaiian sea salt using kiawe or guava wood for over 20 hours to make our smoked sea salt blends.
Joanna Carolan started Aloha Spice Company in 2007 on her mother's agriculture property on the north shore of Kauai. Joanna worked with Kauai chef, Michael Simpson, to develop spice blends that reflect the diversity of cultures and flavors found in Hawaii. In 2013 she moved the company to Hanapepe to its current location which features a gift store as well as the spice production area.
